Atlanta Carnival

This was my shortest Atlanta Carnival experience ever. It wasn’t the longest route (2.1 miles) and there as many bands as previous years but the crowd was still nice and it still looked like everybody had an good time. Not much to cover since I didn’t get to spend time in Carnival Village this year but it worked out perfectly that Carnival was only a block away from the convention I was attending (Momocon). All I had to do was walk a short block away from my hotel and I was there. Perfection. I walked out just in time to catch Pyra Mas hitting Northside Drive, spent some time with them, worked my way through the back, and hung out a bit as I bumped into friends in the various bands. I do miss actually being on the road for the entirety of Carnival but this year I wanted to give myself enough time to enjoy the con. I’m glad I was able to do both and I had a great time.
