Malcolm X Festival

Just like BlerDCon is a “can’t miss” con for me, the Malcolm X Festival in ATL, GA is my “can’t miss” festival. I can’t remember what year was my first year attending but for roughly 15 years or so I’ve made it a point to make it at least one day each year I could. It recharges me. It reminds me that we’re going to be alright. That WE’RE empowered in ways we may forget. That we aren’t the stereotypes and can have spaces that are entirely uplifting, recharging, and fulfilling that we can leave better people than we were prior to entering them. I love this space and I pray it continues to maintain it’s authenticity as it has for year.

As always, if we met for the first time, DON’T BE A STRANGER! If you see me out and bout and recognize me, say wassup! I’ll do the same! Don’t hesitate to reach out on IG as well. It was a pleasure meeting you all.
