Posting things a bit backwards this month but ya boy has been OUTSIDE.

There’s so much to digest this month but I want whoever views these images to have a few takeaways. Black people… across the diaspora… we gonna be alright. The world is a shaky place right now, but we’ll find joy in the midst of no matter what.

I won’t be long winded here but the weekend of May 16th, I was blessed to catch up with some awesome friends I’ve known for over 20 years. I’m also grateful for the new connections formed with people I wasn’t blessed to know back then. Sometimes I wonder what life would have been like if I went to another school instead of Morehouse and every time I sit on it, I have ZERO regrets. 20 years later I can say I made the right choice. 20 years is a long time and hopefully life will be kind so we can triple that. I love Spelhouse fam!

After the reunion you KNOW I had to make it to the Malcolm X Fest. I couldn’t experience the camaraderie I felt at the reunion without sprinkling some of the black joy and positive vibes I get every single year at the festival. I hope it’s felt when you view these captures.
